Currently in creation for setting in 2017, this Nordin Brothers sculpture was commissioned by the City of Grosse Pointe Park. 18 ft tall, made of steel, stainless steel and blown glass. It symbolizes two neighboring cities, sailing, the Detroit River and speaks of celebrating each other.

Created in 2016 by the Nordin Brothers as a welcome sculpture for the City of Harrison Township Michigan, this sculpture is 21 ft tall. It speaks of the wildlife throughout the township and further symbolizes the residents love of nature and the outdoors. Set at the entrance to Harrison at Crocker and Metro Parkway, it is a beacon welcoming all residents and visitors to the township. This is the second sculpture created by the Nordin Brothers who are currently working with the township to further develop and integrate art into their bike path and community. Created for the Detroit Medical Center by the Nordin Brothers in 2016, this sculpture is 15 ft tall and lives in the Heart Hospital lobby in Detroit Michigan. Designed as a dedicatory piece for Heart Hospital CEO, Dr. Theodore Schreiber, MD. Made of steel and glass, each leaf is a blown glass heart, representing the patients and families connected with the DMC and its team of physicians. We work in the healing arts and create custom donor art and have worked with many of the largest hospitals and heath care institutions.
Commissioned by Broder Sasche for their residential development in Detroit called The Scott, these twin sculptures are made of solid stainless steel plate and feature blown glass cube shapes. Created in 2016 by the Nordin Brothers, the sculpture speak of the residents of The Scott and the other properties owned by Broder-Sasche. Created by The Nordin Brothers in 2017 as a symbol of the love of Detroit baseball, this sculpture features a hand painted Tigers D, placed squarely on the a cross-section of I-beam- an "I" symbolic of Mike Illitch and the Illitch Family, who together, have done so much for the City of Detroit and the Detroit Tigers. The pedestal grown from a city skyline at the base and is capped with a baseball field and and features bats made by Detroit Bats. Created as a symbol of celebrating our favorite things about baseball, this sculpture was created for our friends at Carhartt. Our sculpture is displayed with a painting created by Detroit Artist Sintex.

Commissioned by Bedrock Real Estate and DPop! in 2016, the Nordin Brothers searched the basements of vacant Detroit Skyscrapers to gather treasures and artifacts that were each dusted off and given new life in this found object sculpture. Gears, plumbing, a trophy, even a shoe found its way into the sculpture.

The steel sculpture weighs approx 1500 lbs and features gears of the 20th century. Inspired by the shape of a railroad spike, the gears and industrial feel echo shapes in the buildings architecture. Named the Bo Schembechler MVP award - every element is handmade from carbon steel, stainless, blown glass and leather, the sculpture is 9 feet tall. The sword and shovel symbolize going to work and protecting the home. Each recipient has their name added to the sculpture and receives a miniature version of the sculpture. Built to allow ribbons to be tied to it, the stainless steel sculpture further represents the strength of the patients and their families. Commissioned by the Detroit Red Wings, the Nordin Brothers were asked to create a trophy for the Michigan verses Michigan State Hockey game played in Detroit, hosted by the Red Wings and Olympia Entertainment. Red Berenson and Tom Anastos participated in forging the 1 1/4" thick, solid steel D in the center. Red Wing players who were alumni of both universities also participated in its creation adding mojo and history to the trophy, each making their mark. Weighing in at over 50 lbs, the Iron D Trophy, much like the Paul Bunyan Trophy in college football, with be used every year in the future, the winner of the game taking it home. Motown Records and Detroit Legend Berry Gordy visited Detroit during the Detroit Homecoming, this sculpture created by the Nordin Brothers was commissioned as a gift to him from the homecoming as a symbol of his contribution to the world of music as a Detroit native. The sculpture is inspired by a microphone. The blue green sphere representing the world surrounded by the many gold records he created.
