One World Under Michigan Stars stands as the Southern Gateway of the Iron Belle Trail. The Trail spans 2000 miles from Detroit to Ironwood Michigan. 25 feet in diameter and 16,000 lbs. placed on Belle Isle, Detroit in 2022.

Commissioned by Hatch and Strategic Staffin Solutions in Detroit, this sculpture is made of steel and glass and stands 20 ft tall. Standing in the middle of Michigan Avenue near the historic train depot, it was dedicated by Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan. The sculpture symbolizes one generation of Detroiters handing the torch to the next. it symbolizes Detroit’s historic architectural and pays tribute in the columns of the base to the Armed Forces.

Bo Schembechler MVP Sword and Shovel Sculpture
Bo Schembechler MVP Sword and Shovel Sculpture

This sculpture was created in 2016 for the University of Michigan Football Team by the Nordin Brothers.  Selected by Coach Jim Harbaugh to stand as the Most Valuable Player symbol for Michigan Football it lives in Schembechler Hall in Ann Arbor, MI.

Named the Bo Schembechler MVP award - every element is handmade from carbon steel, stainless, blown glass and leather, the sculpture is 9 feet tall.   The sword and shovel symbolize going to work and protecting the home.  Each recipient has their name added to the sculpture and receives a miniature version of the sculpture.   Made possible by our friends at Carhartt who are supporting the artist and maker community in a wealth of ways.

Tree of Strength
Tree of Strength

Created for Henry Ford Hospital by the Nordin Brothers in 2016, the tree of strength stands as a symbol of hope and love for patients and families.  Built to allow ribbons to be tied to it,  the stainless steel sculpture further represents the strength of the patients and their families.   It features hand made copper butterflies that symbolize love, peace and positive energy.
